Kernel panic via overlapping i40e interface closure

A race in the i40e Ethernet driver in Linux allows local users to crash the kernel by overlapping a PF reset with an offline diagnostic. The reset preparation and diagnostic paths can invoke i40e_vsi_close concurrently, so the second closure starts before the first finishes. Local access with CAP_NET_ADMIN and an Intel adapter using i40e is required; successful exploitation interrupts availability by panicking the host.
