Host crash via active-queue DMA teardown

Memory corruption in affected Linux kernel builds allows local users controlling an SR-IOV VF to crash the host during a VF reset. The ice PF driver treats a disabled VF as queue-free, allowing the VF driver to unmap RX/TX DMA resources while device queues remain active and continue writing packets into released memory. Exploitation requires delegated control of an SR-IOV VF and a reset or lifecycle operation; resulting corruption can expose host data, alter memory, or interrupt service.
