Local crash via undersized dm-log region bitmap

Out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel dm mirror log allows local users to crash affected 64-bit systems through device-mapper activity. The dm-log code rounds the region bitmap to 32 bits, but find_next_zero_bit_le reads it through unsigned long pointers and can access four bytes beyond the allocation. Reaching the fault requires local low-privileged access on a 64-bit system using the dm mirror log; no confidentiality or integrity impact is documented.
