Local service interruption via unsynchronized TCP MSS reads

A race condition in Linux kernel TCP 2.6.17 through 5.18.14 allows local users to interrupt service during MTU probing. tcp_mtup_init and tcp_mtu_probing read the shared sysctl_tcp_base_mss value without READ_ONCE while calculating probe limits. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and precise timing; public sources do not identify whether interruption occurs as a crash or hang.
