Local availability loss via oversized DMA segments

Improper DMA segment sizing in the Linux kernel allows local users to disrupt availability through jz4740 MMC block I/O. The jz4740_mmc driver permits scatter-gather segments larger than the DMA engine's advertised maximum, causing an invalid DMA mapping. Reachability requires an Ingenic JZ4740-family MMC host using DMA; the published trace demonstrates a kernel warning, while the terminal failure mode is undisclosed.
