Kernel panic via vblank callback race

A race condition in the MediaTek DRM driver in affected Linux kernel versions allows local users to crash the system during display activity. The mtk_disp_ovl_irq_handler function can dereference NULL callback data when it races with mtk_ovl_disable_vblank. Exploitation requires the MediaTek display path and low local privileges; the documented consequence is a kernel panic, not data access or modification.
