Administrative data modification via nonce-free AJAX actions
Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WC Lovers WCFM – Frontend Manager for WooCommerce 6.5.13 and earlier allows attackers to alter store data. Hundreds of AJAX action handlers accept state-changing requests without checking a WordPress nonce, allowing forged requests to inherit an administrator's active session. An administrator must visit an attacker-controlled page or link while authenticated; exposed actions can modify knowledge bases, notices, payments, vendors, and capabilities.
