Kernel memory corruption via NFSD file-cache race

Use-after-free in Linux kernel NFSD 5.18 through 5.18.3 allows remote attackers to crash the host through concurrent NFS requests. A race lets nfsd_file_put_noref() free an nfsd_file after nfsd_file_put() observes NFSD_FILE_HASHED, followed by a dereference of the freed object. Reachability requires an active NFSD export and concurrent client operations; successful exploitation can panic the kernel or expose and alter kernel memory.
