Kernel-memory disclosure via mis-typed enum controls

An out-of-bounds read in the WCD938x ASoC codec in Linux 5.14 allows local users to read kernel memory through codec controls. The control declarations use integer-backed storage where ALSA expects enum items, so 64-bit long accesses overrun 32-bit enum storage on aarch64. Exploitation requires low-privilege local access to a system using the affected codec; the read can expose kernel memory or interrupt service.
