Display-service interruption via wrapped EDID offset

Integer overflow in the ANX7625 bridge driver in Linux allows local users to interrupt display service through an EDID read. In sp_tx_edid_read, the 8-bit edid_pos index wraps when computed offsets reach 256, and memcpy then writes an EDID block at the wrong buffer position. The path requires an ANX7625 bridge and an EDID longer than 256 bytes; published scoring identifies availability impact only.
