Kernel panic via uninitialized DSA shutdown state

A NULL pointer dereference in Linux kernel DSA allows local users to cause a kernel panic during shutdown of an uninitialized switch. The dsa_switch_shutdown() path dereferences DSA state even when a failed multi-chip tree probe left the switch uninitialized and ds->setup false. The condition requires a multi-chip DSA tree whose final switch failed to complete setup; shutdown then interrupts the host without exposing or modifying data.
