Kernel crash via incorrect bootmem resource release

Improper resource release in the Linux kernel allows local users to crash the kernel through boot-time resource teardown. Code paths can pass a resource returned by alloc_resource() during boot to kfree() instead of the required free_resource(), producing a kernel BUG. Reachability requires local low-privileged access and a path that releases a resource originating in boot memory; the demonstrated consequence is an availability loss.
