Arbitrary memory read/write via UI use-after-free
Published Jul 28, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Use-after-free in Google Chrome's UI before 102.0.5005.61 allows remote attackers to read or write memory through a crafted HTML page. Google identifies the UI component as the affected locus but has not published the freed object's identity or the lifetime error that permits its reuse. Opening the attacker-controlled page requires user interaction; successful exploitation provides arbitrary memory read and write within the browser process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
