Service interruption via duplicate Bluetooth connection events

Memory corruption in Linux kernel Bluetooth before 5.17.3 allows attackers to interrupt service via duplicate connection-complete events. The hci_event connection-complete handlers can register the same device repeatedly because reused or invalid handles are not rejected reliably. Delivery of repeated HCI events for one handle is required, and the resulting kernel-memory corruption causes a crash or host instability.
