Local denial of service via retained request

Memory leak in the Linux kernel CephFS client before 5.18 allows local users to exhaust memory through failed directory reads. In ceph_readdir, an error from note_last_dentry returns after the metadata request is assigned to last_readdir, without releasing the request or resetting the pointer. Exploitation requires local access to a CephFS mount and an allocation failure during a directory read; repeated failures can consume kernel memory and interrupt the host.
