Kernel crash via device-less framebuffer hot-unplug

NULL pointer dereference in Linux kernel fbdev 5.15.33, 5.16.19, and 5.17.2 allows local users to crash the kernel. The conflicting-framebuffer removal path hot-unplugs an OF framebuffer even though it has no backing device, so do_remove_conflicting_framebuffers dereferences a null device pointer. Triggering the crash requires an OF firmware framebuffer and forced removal while a native graphics driver loads; the consequence is a host service interrupt.
