CWE-829 in the OpenSSL DLL component in Synology Drive Client before 3.5.0-16084 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. Synology has not disclosed how the component selects or loads executable functionality from an untrusted control sphere. Local low-privileged access is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in the client process context.
