CVE-2022-4903Network attack vector

Android intent hijacking via mutable PendingIntents

Published Feb 10, 2023 · Updated Mar 24, 2025

Improper intent handling in Codename One 7.0.70 allows remote attackers to alter sensitive Android PendingIntent operations. The Android port creates activity, service, broadcast, notification, location, and media PendingIntent objects without FLAG_IMMUTABLE, leaving the wrapped intents mutable. Exploitation requires user interaction and an attacker-controlled Android application able to obtain a token; public sources do not identify the exact data or action exposed.
