Kernel over-read via short vendor elements

Buffer over-read in cfg80211 in the Linux kernel allows local users to trigger an out-of-bounds comparison via short Wi-Fi vendor elements. The cfg80211_gen_new_ie function in net/wireless/scan.c compares five bytes after each element header without first requiring both vendor-element payload lengths to contain five bytes. Low-privilege local access is required; the operation reads beyond an element boundary, but public sources do not establish a crash or code execution.
