Kernel memory corruption via undersized display array

Out-of-bounds array access in Linux 4.15 through 6.0.12 and 6.1 release candidates allows local users to corrupt kernel memory via DRM modesetting. DCN32 DML sizes LinkCapacitySupport for eight DPPs but indexes it across as many as 20 voltage states, reading and writing adjacent display-mode fields. Reachability requires affected DCN32 graphics hardware and DRM-master access for atomic modesetting; corruption can panic the host or compromise kernel state.
