Kernel crash via freed mlx5 command statistics

Use-after-free in the Linux kernel mlx5 driver from 5.18 through 6.1.6 allows local users to crash the kernel during a devlink reload. The cmd_status_err path records a firmware-command failure through a command-statistics pointer while that structure is freed and reallocated. An mlx5 device and local access sufficient to initiate or coincide with driver reload are required; the resulting NULL-pointer access raises a kernel oops and interrupts the host.
