Memory corruption via miscounted COW page references

Memory corruption in Linux 5.9 through 5.16.10 allows local users to desynchronize CPU and DMA views of pinned pages. In change_pte_range(), page_mapcount() ignores nonmapping GUP references, so NUMA protection can migrate a COW page that remains pinned for device DMA. The path requires a local low-privilege process, NUMA balancing or lazy mbind, and a pinned writable page; CPU and device divergence can corrupt data or hang workloads.
