Local denial of service via unchecked PMI clearing

A PMU interrupt-state flaw in affected Linux kernels allows local users to interrupt service by triggering a performance-counter overflow. The power_pmu_disable callback clears pending PMI state without first verifying the Paca pending bit while a PMC can overflow during the soft-disabled interrupt window. Affected releases include 5.10.94 through 5.10.95, 5.15.17 through 5.15.18, and 5.16.3 through 5.16.4; exploitation requires local low-privileged access to a PowerPC system.
