A data race in Linux kernel 5.14 through 5.19.8 allows local users to cause unspecified impact through TCP zerocopy transmission. The tcp_build_frag path calls page_is_pfmemalloc on user-supplied or other-layer pages, concurrently reading the low bit of page->lru.next while lru_add_fn updates that list pointer. Reachability requires local sendfile or splice activity on a TCP socket; upstream describes the KCSAN report as mostly a false positive and documents no concrete corruption or service interruption.
