Restricted configuration disclosure via missing permission checks
Published Dec 31, 2022 · Updated Apr 9, 2025
Improper authorization in Froxlor before 2.0.0-beta1 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted server configuration. The cron-job, IP-and-port, and MySQL-server handlers render page bodies without checking the account's change_serversettings permission. A low-privilege reseller session is required, and the result is restricted hosting-configuration disclosure rather than modification or interruption.
