Local kernel panic via unchecked event code

Improper bounds handling in Linux kernel before 5.17.10 allows local users to cause a system panic through an invalid input event code. The input_set_capability function passes the unchecked code to __set_bit for the event type's bitmap, allowing an out-of-bounds bit write. Exploitation requires local access and interrupts availability by crashing the host; no data disclosure or modification is reported.
