CVE-2022-48615Public exploit

Authenticated command execution via OPS sandbox escape

Published Dec 12, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper access control in the OPS Script Assistant in Huawei AR6000 V300R019C10SPC300 allows remote authenticated users to read device files. The assistant lets uploaded Python scripts call os.open outside the intended /mnt/flash jail and modify process memory, converting os.mkdir into os.system. Exploitation requires valid management credentials and enabled FTP and Telnet services; it permits arbitrary file access and command execution as the Python service account.
