Universal XSS via incomplete URL validation
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Universal XSS in ClassLink OneClick Extension 10.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject JavaScript into any webpage. URL-control checks omit the required regular expression at some extension entry points, allowing non-ClassLink domains to trigger the extension. A user must visit a crafted website; injected JavaScript can then read or alter page data across unrelated websites in the browser.
