SQL injection via concatenated Mongo usernames

SQL injection in KBase Software Metrics allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL queries through crafted usernames. The upload_user_data function joins usernames returned from MongoDB into a quoted IN list and executes the resulting UPDATE directly rather than binding values.
