Authenticated SQL injection via reporter event types
Published Aug 9, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
SQL injection in ScienceLogic Skylar One 11.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through reporter event types. The reporter events type feature passes unsanitized user-controlled input directly into a database query rather than neutralizing SQL syntax. A low-privileged account and network access to the feature are required; injected statements can read, alter, or delete database data and interrupt service.
