Unauthenticated console access via zero LDAP password
Published Aug 22, 2023 · Updated Oct 3, 2024
Authentication bypass in Cacti 1.2.19 allows remote attackers to access the web console with an LDAP username and a password of zero. The cacti_ldap_auth() path accepts numeric zero as a password instead of rejecting the invalid credential before LDAP authentication. The bypass requires LDAP authentication and PHP 8.2, and it grants access under the selected LDAP identity without establishing broader administrative control.
