Unique value disclosure to third-party apps
Published Jul 6, 2023 · Updated Nov 19, 2024
Information disclosure in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows attackers using third-party apps to obtain a unique value from DSoftBus. Huawei identifies DSoftBus as the locus but has not published which interface returns the value or which validation or access-control operation fails. The gate is execution of a third-party app on HarmonyOS 2.0.0 or 2.0.1, or EMUI 11.0.1, 12.0.0, or 12.0.1; only the unique value is reported exposed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=2.0.0
