Program crash via unsynchronized Share resource access
Published Jul 6, 2023 · Updated Nov 19, 2024
Race condition in Huawei Share in Huawei EMUI 12.0.0 and 12.0.1 and HarmonyOS 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 allows remote attackers to crash the program. Concurrent threads access mutually exclusive Huawei Share resources without proper synchronization, reaching a null pointer dereference. Exploitation requires network reachability and favorable race timing; the reported consequence is an abnormal exit, with no reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
