Unauthenticated service interruption via malformed packet parsing
Published Jun 16, 2023 · Updated Dec 17, 2024
Input misinterpretation in Huawei BiSheng-WNM firmware 3.0.0.325 allows remote attackers to interrupt the printer service via a crafted packet. The packet-parsing module on a printer port inadequately validates external packets and misinterprets malicious input. Network access to the affected device is sufficient; exploitation makes the printer service abnormal without reported data disclosure or modification.
