Stored script execution via change-tab rendering
Published Mar 27, 2023 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
Stored XSS in JetBrains TeamCity before 2022.10.3 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. The vendor identifies the Pending changes and Changes tabs as the rendering locus but does not disclose which stored change field lacks contextual output encoding. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to store content and interaction by another user who opens an affected tab; the script can read or alter data available to that browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
