Configuration defects in the secure OS module of affected Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI releases allow remote attackers to interrupt services. Huawei has not published which configuration setting is defective or how network input triggers resource exhaustion in the module. The affected releases are HarmonyOS 2.0.0, 2.0.1, and 3.0.0 and EMUI 12.0.0, 12.0.1, and 13.0.0; exploitation needs no credentials or user interaction.
