Browser script execution via unfiltered request parameters
Published Feb 16, 2023 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Mapos 4.39.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser through crafted form inputs. The Permissoes.php and Produtos.php controllers accept request parameters without enabling CodeIgniter's XSS filter, while affected views render stored or reflected values into HTML without output encoding. Exploitation requires a user to load the affected output, enabling script execution within that user's browser context and access to data or actions available to the session.
