CVE-2022-48313

Adjacent-device data disclosure via unconfirmed Bluetooth pairing

Published Apr 16, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025

Bluetooth pairing confirmation bypass in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows physically proximate attackers to access confidential data. The Bluetooth module completes device pairing without obtaining the required user confirmation, accepting an unapproved peer. Exploitation requires Bluetooth proximity but no prior privileges or user interaction; the impact is limited to confidentiality, and Huawei has not identified the exposed data.
