Improper certificate validation in Palantir Foundry Magritte before 9.466.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or modify FTPS traffic. The Magritte-ftp plugin misuses javax.net.ssl.SSLSocketFactory and accepts a TLS certificate whose hostname does not match the FTP server. A privileged network position and an FTPS connection are required, exposing authentication tokens and raw data entering the Foundry stack.
