Improper permission management in Huawei SystemUI on affected HarmonyOS and EMUI releases allows attackers to display false storage alerts. SystemUI accepts storage-related broadcasts from malicious apps without preserving the intended permission boundary, but Huawei has not disclosed the affected API or validation logic. A malicious app must execute on the device; the demonstrated consequence is deceptive external-storage warning information, not data access or service interruption.
