Restricted-function access via unchecked caller permissions
Published Feb 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 11, 2025
Incorrect privilege assignment in Huawei HarmonyOS AILife Solution 6.0 allows local users to access restricted functions. The software fails to verify the caller's permission before a malicious application invokes those functions. A local low-privilege attacker must run a crafted application, and successful exploitation exposes only functions the caller should not reach.
