CVE-2022-48259Network attack vector

Privilege escalation via crafted network packet

Published Feb 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

System command injection in Huawei BiSheng-WNM FW 3.0.0.325 allows remote attackers to gain higher privileges via a crafted network packet. Huawei identifies the trigger as a specially crafted packet sent to a specific device port but does not disclose the listening service or unsafe command-building operation. The target device must be network-reachable; no authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation elevates attacker privileges on the printer.
