Temporary-file race in Eternal Terminal 6.2.1 allows local users to prevent etserver or etclient startup via precreated log paths. etserver and etclient derive /tmp log names from timestamps with only minute or second granularity, then open those attacker-predictable paths. Exploitation requires local access and precise precreation; common Linux symlink protections limit overwrite effects, but path collisions can still stop the processes from starting.
