CVE-2022-48254

Physical lock-screen bypass via improper implementation

Published Feb 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Improper authentication in Huawei Band 7 NFC Leia-B29 2.0.0.49(M03) allows physically proximate attackers to bypass the lock screen. The lock-screen function processes certain on-device operations incorrectly because authentication is improperly implemented in specific lock-screen scenarios. Physical operation of the affected wearable is required, and successful exploitation exposes data protected by the screen lock without altering it.
