Physical intrusion-detection bypass via undisclosed TamperLock flaw

Protection mechanism failure in HP TamperLock firmware on affected desktop PCs allows physically proximate attackers to bypass intrusion detection. HP has not disclosed the TamperLock component or logic that mishandles the physical condition and suppresses the expected intrusion indication. Exploitation requires physical access to the chassis and can conceal tampering from TamperLock's detection path.
