Stored script execution via unsanitized action subject
Published Apr 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Stored XSS in X2CRM Open Source Sales CRM 6.6 and 6.9 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. The Create Action update endpoint stores the unsanitized Actions[subject] parameter and later renders it as active browser content. Low-privileged account access and a victim who views the crafted action are required, exposing data and allowing page actions in the victim's session.
