Administrator credential disclosure via unprotected log export
Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Access control failure in Wavlink WL-WN533A8 M33A8.V5030.190716 allows remote attackers to download configuration data and logs. The /cgi-bin/ExportLogs.sh endpoint processes an unauthenticated request without enforcing access control and returns exported configuration and log content. Network reachability to the device's web interface is sufficient; the exported configuration exposes administrator credentials that grant dashboard access.
