Database disclosure via unescaped medicine identifier
Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
SQL injection in RemoteClinic 2.0 allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data through a crafted medicine profile request. The /medicines/profile.php handler incorporates the id query parameter into an SQL statement without neutralization, allowing UNION clauses to change the query and return attacker-selected rows. The published reproduction begins with a Doctor login and extracts database identity and staff password hashes; public evidence does not establish unauthenticated reachability.
