Victim-browser script execution via reflected installer input
Published Apr 21, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in Shopware 5.5.10 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser through the recovery/install/ URI. The recovery installer response reflects user-controlled URI input into generated HTML without neutralizing browser-executable content, but public records do not identify the parameter or code-level sink. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted link; resulting script runs in the Shopware origin and can read or alter data accessible to that victim.
