Remote command execution via unsanitized dayvalid parameter
Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
OS command injection in TOTOlink A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_B20191024 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted dayvalid value. The delStaticDhcpRules handler passes dayvalid through Uci_Set_Str, formats it with snprintf, and sends the resulting command to cstesystem and execv without neutralizing shell syntax. The published CVSS assessment requires no privileges, although the demonstrated management-CGI request includes a session cookie; successful execution grants command access on the router.
